In the morning the campers headed to the lab to work on their final projects and hopefully finish collecting lab data for their projects on Monday and they headed to Geisel for the last time on Tuesday, in the afternoon the campers headed to their classroom for one of their last lectures with Dr. Sahar where she gave us an experiment to attempt on a virtual software, the software didn't end up working but Dr. Sahar ended up having us set up the experiment on her computer on Monday, and on Tuesday we went back to the lab. After class Monday was over we had our annual talent show, where many talented peers performed songs and even a comedy routine.
On Wednesday in the morning the campers headed to the lab to finish up their presentations to be ready for their practice presentation Thursday, at the end of our morning class we got to view a really cool lab tour with a giant optic table set up used to cool atoms to borderline absolute zero, in order to use those particles as waves. In the afternoon Dr. Sahar gave us a project to design a light based game by Thursday and then we would vote for whoever's game we thought was best then.
Thursday the groups finished up their presentations in the morning and practiced for their presentations the next day with the CA's and professors giving them advice for the final presentations. After lunch our second group of students ran an exciting game of freeze tag while waiting for their last lab tour of the camp. After the lab tour the campers went back to their classroom for their last lecture period, where Dr. Sahar concluded our game design with a voting poll to decide the winners who got cool prizes like 3D printed slugs or dinosaurs.
