Stationery Club at UC San Diego was founded by Kim in Fall 2023 out of curiosity about whether there were others on campus who enjoy stationery and would be interested in a club all about stationery. It turns out that there are tons of people who enjoy stationery! With that knowledge in mind, she invited others to join her in the Stationery Club Leadership Team to help create wonderful stationery-filled experiences. Several dedicated stationery enthusiasts stepped up to form the 11+ person team leading the club meetings every week.

 Every week, the club members meet to discuss a stationery-themed topic. Whether people enjoy notebooks, pens, pencils, fountain pens, note taking, to do lists, planning, journaling, writing letters, calligraphy, handwriting, paper crafts, and more - this is the club for anyone interested in any of these topics. Members of the club rejoice in sharing their favorite writing instruments, planning techniques, journals, stickers, and more each week while enjoying conversing with fellow stationery enthusiasts.

Stationery Club aims to share stationery knowledge via stationery-related workshops such as fountain pen workshops and calligraphy workshops. The club occasionally hosts special events such as picnics and trips to local stationery stores, museums, gardens, and more. 

As the club grows, there are many goals that the Stationery Club has such as fundraising by offering special hand-drawn artwork by the organization’s Vice President/Social Media Coordinator/Graphic Designer, Alex, in order to provide stationery and stationery-themed goodies for club members to enjoy and through collaborations to share the love of stationery with more people.
