Creating Artful Research for Vision and Engagement (CARVE) concentrates on research storytelling joining art and narrative.

Imagined self portrait drawn by K. Pezzoli during a 1976 ART class at Suffolk Community College, NY --following the instructions of an art teacher telling her students (me being one of them) to "draw an image of what you will look like in 50 years --2026." This drawing is what I conjured in pencil.

What's under your feet? Wood chips from walking path at UCSD. None of the wood pieces were altered in anyway. The forest floor on campus is a treasure trove of artful wood.
