UW Math Circle: a weekly math program for middle school students
UW Math Day: a yearly event bringing high school students to the UW campus for talks and activities by math faculty
UCSD Women in Math Club: I participate in events organized by the Women in Math Club
UMass AWM: Undergraduate Chapter: I was the AWM faculty advisor and assisted with planning, attending, and fundraising for regular AWM events
UMass Undergraduate Math Club: hosts weekly faculty talks for undergraduates to engage with mathematics in a non-traditional capacity
UMass Honors Discovery Seminar: What is research in theoretical mathematics?: in addition to my departmental teaching load, I led a seminar for non-math majors in the UMass Honors College on what mathematical research can look like. For more details on what we covered, see the course page here.
Undergraduate independent study and senior theses: I have supervised several independent study and senior thesis projects with math majors at UMass. A paper resulting from joint work with one of these students, Nikita Singh, is available on my research page. If you are an undergraduate interested in independent study or a senior thesis, please reach out and do so early--I have a limited number of students I can take on at any time.
2025 SRI Bootcamp mentor: I led a group of graduate students studying K-stability of singular (non-smoothable) del Pezzo surfaces. We have a forthcoming article on our results.
Stacks Project Workshop mentor: I led a group of graduate students studying deformations of quotient singularities. We are in the process of writing up our work, which includes an expository summary of the surface case, a Macaulay2 program for coming deformations of affine quotient singularities, and new results on deformations of threefolds.
Graduate lecture series:
AGNES Summer School on Higher Dimensional Moduli lecturer and mentor: I gave a series of lectures on K-moduli of Fano varieties, and with L. Ji, led a group of graduate students in a research project on K-moduli of Fano family 2.18 (see my research page for notes and the resulting paper).
FRG Special Month in Ann Arbor: I gave a series of lectures on explicit K-moduli.
Moduli and Invariants in Santiago: I gave a series of lectures on moduli of varieties.
GAeL XXXI: I gave a series of lectures on moduli of varieties (see my research page for notes).
AGGITATE LMS Summer School: I gave a series of lectures on wall crossing in moduli of varieties (see my research page for notes).
CIRM Winter School on K-stability: I gave a series of lectures on K-moduli for Fano varieties
TIME Summer School: I gave a series of lectures on Geometric Invariant Theory, and the notes will appear in a volume published by the school.
