HI THERE!
I GO BY JAX AND/OR JAZ. I am an interdisciplinary artist from Los Angeles, CA. I primarily work in video & sound, but come from a painting and dance background.
My inspiration comes from following my MTDNA to the MITOCHONDRIAL EVE , and unpacking the grief stored and transferred from the womb and body of the mothers before me.
Shadow work has become the main goal and intention in my artwork.
