Computer Science Supplementary Authorization

The supplementary authorization in Computer Science will be added to your exciting teaching credential. These courses may be submitted to satisfy either the Introductory Supplementary Authorization or the Specific Supplementary Authorization.

To earn your Supplementary Authorization, you must:

  1. Complete these four courses, expected to be offered by UCSD Education Studies through UCSD Extension.
  2. Take these courses for Pass/No Pass (P/NP), but you will have the option to take them for a Letter Grade.
  3. Submit the syllabi and transcript to the CTC.*

*Though there is no official program, UCSD will be in communication with the CTC and you on effective ways/verbiage to submit your syllabi for a successful authorization request.
