CASP peer leaders are assigned to students based on shared majors, minors, colleges, or similar academic and career goals. This thoughtful matching helps foster meaningful connections and allows peer leaders to provide more personalized support and guidance.
Will there be emails reminding us of the requirements?
You’ll receive important information and reminders through your CPL’s emails and your one-to-one meetings with them. You will also receive reminders in OLCs. You can also stay updated via our monthly CASP newsletter.
How does CASP keep track of our requirements?
CASP keeps track of your scholarship requirements through a combination of reports from your college advisor, your CPL (peer mentor), and your PID. These check-ins help us make sure you're staying on track and getting the support you need to succeed.
What will cause my scholarship to be revoked?
Your scholarship benefits may be at risk if you don’t complete the required CASP program commitments and scholarship requirements. It’s important to stay on top of all your responsibilities to remain in good standing.
Do I need to check my contact record weekly?
Yes! Your contact record has all the important updates, deadlines, and notes from your College and Major Department. It’s your go-to spot for staying informed and up to date.
Does CASP offer year-round activities?
Yes, CASP offers a variety of activities throughout the year. These include events at the CASP office, fun socials hosted by your CPLs, and end-of-quarter study jams to help you finish strong.
What other ways in which I can get involved with CASP?
You can get more involved by joining the team as a CPL, an OLC Facilitator, or an Office Assistant. It’s a great way to build skills, connect with the community, and make meaningful impact!
