Prior to entering graduate school, I worked as a research consultant at the Inter-American Development Bank’s Migration Unit, the International Organization for Migration, and the Research Center at Universidad del Pacífico, where I focused on various projects related to regional migration management and migrant integration, as well as the Venezuelan displacement phenomenon, in Latin America.
I was awarded a 2018–2019 Fulbright US Student grant to Peru, where I researched the lived experiences of return and reintegration for Peruvian migrants.
I hold a BA in Anthropology from Macalester College (Saint Paul, Minnesota).
