The AI and Health Workshop at UC San Diego will bring together leading experts from government, academia, and industry to explore the intersection of artificial intelligence and healthcare. This cross-sector gathering provides a platform to address critical challenges in standardization, security, and governance while highlighting the revolutionary impact of AI on precision medicine and healthcare innovation. Featuring a diverse lineup of speakers, the workshop includes leaders from the Department of Defense, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and top AI and healthcare organizations. Participants will explore topics ranging from AI-driven drug discovery and neural health to the role of trusted systems and regulatory frameworks inspired by lessons from the financial sector. Through engaging talks and panel discussions, the event aims to foster collaboration and uncover strategies to unlock AI's potential for advancing human health.
