What is a GFET?
By using a graphene field-effect transistor (GFET), the relationship between the input of voltage and output of current can be graphed. By testing a baseline and biosample, a large enough shift in the I-V (current-voltage) relationship curve is indicative of a positive COVID-19 sample.

Modulating voltage at the Gate changes the conductance between the Source and Drain channels. This relationship shifts when adding a biosample to graphene.
Apply voltage at gate (Vgs) and at drain (Vds)
Measure current at drain (Ids)
I-V, or Current-Voltage, curves are generated from the GFET sensor runs, both for the baseline and the COVID sample.
