We've expanded PBSE-wide!

What we've done

Over the past four years, our program has successfully connected a total of 74 new graduate students across PBSE programs with experienced student mentors. This initiative has played a crucial role in fostering lasting bonds and promoting student-body cohesion, which are vital for graduate student success. Additionally, our program offers valuable networking opportunities for mentors and mentees, allowing them to connect with fellow researchers outside of their lab or department, thereby building a broader network throughout their graduate school careers.

As we enter our fifth year in 2024, we are thrilled to announce that we are supporting 35 mentees representing all PBSE departments, with the assistance of 27 senior graduate student mentors. This marks our largest cohort to date, reflecting the growing success and impact of our program. Furthermore, we are proud to share that in 2021, we became an official part of the PBSE Peer Mentoring Coalition, further expanding our reach and resources.
