GoDive Equipment Program
The University of California Santa Cruz, and the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology is proud to announce the GoDive Equipment Program.
As an institution, we are aware that diving gear costs have created a barrier impeding access for students to do scientific diving in the past. As a response to this concern, in 2023, the UCSC Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Department created the GoDive program with the objective of increasing gear access to a broader range of students and staff by lending sets of BCDs, dive computers, regulators, dive weights and wet/drysuits for eligible applicants.

Eligibility
You must be a current UCSC student, staff, or faculty member
You must be an 'Active' status UCSC Scientific Diver or applying as a UCSC scientific diver in training (BIOE7
If applying for BIOE75- Scientific Diving course.
This form must be submitted together with your full BIOE75 application before March 1st 11:59 pm PST. This form alone will not be considered a full application.
If applying for Fall 2024 - Kelp Forest Ecology BIOE161.
This form must be submitted before September 1st 11:59 pm PST.
