New positions for UCSC undergraduate research assistants will usually become available at the start of each quarter during UCSC's primary academic year (Fall, Winter, and Spring).
For full consideration, please be sure to submit your application by the end of Week 7 of the quarter prior to the quarter you would like to begin working in the lab (see UCSC's academic calendar here to determine dates).
During Weeks 8 & 9, we'll begin reaching out to applicants to schedule 1-on-1 meetings with Dr. Bonam or one of our lab's PhD students. The goal of these meetings will be to confirm applicants' interest in our current projects and available research assistant roles.
We'll contact applicants during Week 10 and Finals Week to confirm placement in the lab.
Current UCSC undergraduate students: Please feel free to schedule an office hours meeting with Dr. Bonam via Calendly if you have questions about the lab either before or after applying.
