Asset Creation:
Completed McHenry Tileset: Included art assets into McHenry via tilemap.
Button assets found: Incorporated the "Complete UI Essential Pack".
Developed journal sprites, main menu assets, and Baskin tileset creation.
Gameplay Features & Mechanics:
Loading Zones: Explored transitioning between scenes while retaining UI information.
Redesigned Labs: Assisted with redesigning lab environments.
Engineering Puzzle Box: Completed but needs refinement. Created targets, improved prompts, and made a "Camp Fire" (Day Skipper).

Menu: Designed and adjusted main menu and settings menu assets, including buttons and background elements.
Created a death scene sprite.
UI & Menu Implementation:
Worked on the main menu, adjusting layout, assets, and functionality.
Implemented and refined the pause menu, focusing on spacing and font adjustments.
Integrated Persian translations into the game.
Created and formatted a JSON file for translated text.
Collaborated on recording and creating sound effects for various in-game actions, like walking and door interactions.
Developed an audio manager to handle sound across different scenes, ensuring synchronization with gameplay elements.
Worked on integrating volume controls and pause/resume functionality for the audio system.
Background
This project is a collaborative effort by students from the University of California, Santa Cruz, as part of their CMPM 171 course, which is the capstone class for the Computer Science and Game Design program. The students are tasked with applying their cumulative knowledge and skills in game development to create an interactive, engaging game.
