Class of 2021

I work closely with my thesis advisor Professor Vicky Oelze in the Anthropology Department and have done work in her lab, the PEMA lab.

I have been a member of the video coding team for three years and a peer leader of it for six terms. With the help of Vicky and PhD student Seth Phillips, I help train new students and create guides for species identification and other general resources.

The Chimp Video Coding team works in collaboration with GMERC. This entails recording the species, quantity, behavior and, when possible, the demographics of the species present in each camera trap video recorded at the site.
