Take 30 minutes to create a poster that represents you or things that you enjoy. This activity is to help us familiarize ourselves with Adobe Illustrator basics and if you've used it before, explore new tools. We'll be having a feedback session at the end.

PART 2

• We'll be making posters that build awareness around our social justice issue and we'll take 15 minutes to brainstorm together.

Then we'll take 1 hour and 20 minutes to actually design a poster around our issue. Each poster should include:

• A title
• A clear theme that relates to your social justice topic
• Color scheme
• An element that you draw, trace or create out of shapes

HOW TO SAVE, EXPORT & UPLOAD

1. SAVE

1. Save your poster as an Adobe Illustrator file to your desktop.
2. Title it: "First Name_last name"

3. UPLOAD

1. Upload your AI file to the google drive under your social justice issue
2. Upload your PNG file to the google drive under your social justice issue
