Ethics & Algorithms SIG

We are a special interest group (SIG) at the intersection of ethics and algorithms research composed of researchers from the University of California at Santa Cruz, the University of Wisconsin at Madison, the University of Washington, and the University of Chicago. We are funded by the NSF Transdisciplinary Research In Principles Of Data Science (TRIPODS) initiative as part of the Institute for Foundations of Data Science (IFDS). Part of our mission includes hosting talks at our monthly meetings, (currently the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 12:00 Pacific Time, 14:00 Central Time).
