About me

who am i anyways?

I am Daniel Madalengoitia, student of the Games and Playable Media M.S. program at UC Santa Cruz. I am a passionate Peruvian with a bunchful of interests: I practice bouldering since December 2021 and I have participated in 3 local competitions back in Peru (as a beginner). I watch fútbol since I was a kid. I am mod in a Facebook group of more than 1700 people that discuss, comment and make memes about Peruvian fútbol. For this community I created the page Peruvian Football Bot (listed among my projects) that received more than 1500 likes.

I love traveling! I've been to Panama, Costa Rica, Chile, Spain, Poland, Switzerland, France, Germany, among other countries. I have visited several localities in my home country as well!

I watch movies, series, and play both board and computer games, I specially enjoy playing them as a way to hang out with my friends. My favorite titles are Love Letters, Risk, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Smash, among others.

Along with the things I've already told you, some of the things you will hear me talk about are Peruvian and universal history, linguistics, politics and walkable cities.
