I'm a 4th year Ph.D. candidate in the MCD Biology department. I completed my undergrad and Masters degree from India. I then worked as a visiting research scientist at the University of Washington, Seattle for a couple of years before starting my PhD at UCSC. In the Boyd lab, I'm characterizing the responses of fibroblast lineages that are localized in different lung compartments after influenza virus infections. I'm also interested in investigating how lung fibroblast lineages interact with immune cells that are recruited into the lung following infection.
In my free time, I like to go bowling, hiking or play card games with my friends, explore food places in the Bay area, watch sunset at west cliff or just binge Netflix.
