After graduating from the University of Virginia in 2019 and working in the biotechnology industry, I completed my M.S at Keck Graduate Institute and the Irell & Manella School of Biological Sciences. My thesis explored the role of cancer-associated fibroblasts in therapeutic resistance of colorectal cancer. With the Boyd Lab I am developing complex organoid models of the lung and investigating how influenza infection and fibroblast activation may influence metastatic lung cancer.
When I'm not in the lab I enjoy rock climbing, photography, cooking, and listening to new music.Â
