Hi I'm Bhavani a Computational Media PhD Student at UC Santa Cruz.
Advised by Prof. Norman Su at the AUX Lab. I conduct qualitative research on how communities respond and repurpose technology. I've previously worked with Microsoft Research, India; University of Michigan, Ann Arbor; The College of William and Mary, Virginia and the Centre for Budget and Policy Studies, India. My work has been published in academic venues such as CSCW, and The Economic and Political Weekly.
