HRI Openings - Investigates approach directions and conversation opening for teleoperated robots.
Virtual Reality - Assesses user comfort in varying virtual reality environments.
Disclosure - If a computer follows implicit social rules, and asks you questions about yourself, do you disclose more information?

CHARISMA is a Human-Robot Interaction lab at Oregon State University, directed by Dr. Heather Knight. I joined this lab as a member of the Robotics REU program in the summer of 2018.
Social privacy - Robots are becoming more prevalent and social. In public, how should robots engage with people in a way that protects their sense of privacy? This study incorporates methods from theater to assess participant perspectives.
Robot education workshop - This interdisciplinary workshop combines theater and robots in a human-robot interactive play. In this workshop, high school students choose what the robot does and says while learning about the background computer science simultaneously.
November 2017 to September 2018
ESIL lab members assist Dr. Audun Dahl in experimentally researching Moral Psychology from a developmental perspective. I conduct research for the Academic Orientation Project (AOP), studying moral considerations of academic cheating and plagiarism. (ESIL Website)
