"Patience. This single virtue is the epitome of my teaching philosophy. My philosophy of teaching is that students learn best in an environment that fosters kindness, compassion, and respect for others. A patient instructor believes in the potential of each one of their students and strives to see them succeed both in the classroom and in life. A patient instructor empathizes with the struggles their students go through both academically and emotionally. I believe in taking a holistic approach when it comes to teaching, one that is mindful of their student’s needs, abilities, and struggles."
