Madeleine Simmons (She/They) is like a radio finding signal in the static. She is a disabled neurodivergent poet whose work appears or is forthcoming in Breath & Shadow, Wordgathering, Inlandia, Curious Publishing, and was named a semi-finalist in the 2025 Misfit Poetry Prize from Frontier Poetry.
She teaches English at Chaffey College in California. She has taught creative writing in colleges, Title I high schools, and urban inner-city grant-funded summer programs. She is currently a poetry editor for Inlandia Institute: A Literary Journey and has served as a judge for the Riverside Teen Poet Laureate for the past 4 years as well as other contests.
