MEGSA awards outstanding ME student presenters. The award winners will be elected by attendees during the course of the Symposium based on the clarity of your presentation. The award ceremony will take place during the event.
Outstanding Presentation Award
The best presentation in each session (Fluids/Heat Transfer, Materials, Controls) will be awarded an official institutional award, and will be granted a (cash) travel award. The travel award can be used by the student towards the participation to conferences and/or research related activities. The amount of the award is comparable to domestic GSA Conference Travel Grant (see here), and can be combined with GSA awards and PI funds.
Best Poster Presentation Award
The best poster presentation will be awarded an official institutional award, and will be a great opportunity to showcase your communication skills in your CV.
