My name is Swati Gaba and I am a second year PhD student in the  Department of Mathematics at the University of Connecticut. My research interests lie broadly in the area of algebra and number theory and more specifically in arithmetic geometry and algebraic number theory. 

In August 2022, I graduated with a Master's in Pure Mathematics from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Before that, I completed my undergraduate studies with honors in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics at Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi, India.

I am currently supported by a teaching assistantship that comes from the mathematics department at UConn.
