Secure Vital Monitor. An affordable point of care device is proposed that can continuously estimate five vital signs: heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, respiration rate, blood pressure, and temperature from PPG signal. To ensure security, an auto-encoder is used for encryption and deep learning for abnormality detection.

Neuromuscular Control. This work explores the design of a low cost microcircuit platform that is light weight, energy efficient and highly capable in stimulating insect brain, logging sensory data and using it to model and control its neuromuscular pathway, all in real-time. The results are encouraging and opens up avenues for miniature bio-robots.
