Logistics

Arrival:

• We encourage you to arrive at Esalen on Sunday March 22nd by dinner time (~6pm).
• For many of you, it will work best to book a flight arriving at SFO or SJC on March 21st. We will help coordinate your commutes to Santa Cruz from SFO/SJC.
• We will reserve a block of rooms at the Mission Inn, our official conference hotel, in Santa Cruz for those that need a room on March 21st or March 27th.
• The Monterey Regional Airport is small, but may work well for some of you.
• We will be arranging vans and cars from Santa Cruz that will leave early afternoon on March 22nd.
• You may also drive directly to Esalen (e.g., from SoCal); however, parking there is extremely limited, so carpooling is strongly encouraged.

On site -- Think of Esalen as 'camp for grown ups' and plan accordingly:

• Internet is spotty at best, and cell phone service is very poor. Plan ahead.
• If you tend to graze throughout the day, bring some snacks (e.g. power bars).
• A headlamp or flashlight is recommended.
• Bring rain gear.

Departures:

• We will end after lunch on Friday March 27th.
• Rides to Santa Cruz will be provided with some vehicles stopping along the way for an excursion.
• Those *not* stopping for the excursion will arrive back in Santa Cruz at approximately 3pm.
• We will reserve a block of rooms at the Mission Inn in Santa Cruz for those that need a room on March 27nd.
