SW-PBS Tier 1 Emerging Phase Training

  • There are no Tier 1 Emerging Phase Training Sessions Scheduled for this school year. Please contact your Central Region consultants if you have questions about beginning the work of SW-PBS at your school.

Missouri School-Wide Positive Behavior Support (MO SW-PBS). This is a series of six sessions designed for school teams beginning their first full year of SW-PBS implementation. Content will emphasize deeper understanding and implementation of the Essential Components of SW-PBS, implementation of effective classroom practices, and the use of data for quality decision making. These sessions are for current SW-PBS Tier 1 Emerging schools only.

Outcomes for these sessions include:

  • Implementing Data-Based Decision-Making to analyze fidelity of implementation of SW-PBS - specifically looking at multiple data sources (informal surveys, self-assessments, peer observations, walk-throughs, and interviews.)

  • Developing systems for annually collecting, reviewing, and reporting student assistance referrals both social and academic.

  • Identifying the value and features of Classroom Practice. Supervision.

  • Use of effective action planning to guide and monitor development and implementation tasks.

Audience: Building Administrator and at least two Tier 1 Team members.
