About me

My name is Erika Howery (soon to be Erika Sanders - I am getting married next month!!). I just finished my second year of teaching. I teach sixth, seventh, and eight grade Writer's Workshop at The Barstow School in Kansas City, MO. It is a K-12 independent school. I've had a lot of freedom at Barstow to create, write, and teach new curriculum, so this degree program is extremely applicable to my daily life as a teacher at Barstow!
