Meet the Team!

Design is the first step in making a robot. This subteam can be broken down into 5 distinct processes; strategic analysis, concepting, prototyping, CAD (Computer Aided Design) and detailing.

 Manufacturing is the second step of mechanical, involving the production of robot parts. There are 4 manufacturing processes; CNC routing, lathing, milling, 3D printing and electrical sawing. 

Build is the third part of making a robot, which involves putting all the individual parts together. This step includes the most of the work with the robot itself. 

Electrical is the last step of mechanical. It is split into 5 different categories; power, communication (CANbus), ethernet, batteries and pneumatics

Software: Software, also referred to as the code team, is primarily responsible for programming the code that controls the robot during autonomous and for performing actions/tasks during a competition.

Business/Awards: On the Business team we oversee the teams documents: handouts to the team sponsors, and other important documents the team  needs. We also apply for grants and search for funding deals for the team.

Awards: The Awards/Operations subteam also oversees the submission of FRC Awards. We submit answers to questions and an essay for the Impact Award, create slideshows and presentations for the Impact Award and oversee all outreach related awards. 

Outreach and Marketing: Outreach and STEM education are a huge part of our team mission. We highly encourage those who are available to participate in our outreach events. It’s a great way to interact with the community, teach about robotics, and help spread interest in STEAM.
