Biography

Dr. Demeke Shumeye Lakew is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science, Kombolcha Institute of Technology, Wollo University, Kombolcha, Ethiopia. He received his Ph.D. degree in Engineering at the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Chung-Ang University, Seoul, Republic of Korea, in 2023, the Master's Degree in Computer Science from Addis Ababa University, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia in 2011, and the B.S. degree in Computer science from Hawassa University, Hawassa, Ethiopia in 2006. Dr. Demeke has authored and coauthored 15+ SCI[E] journal papers and 20+ international conference papers. He has served as invited reviewer for numerous prestigious journals, including IEEE JSAC, IEEE COMST, IEEE TWC, IEEE TVT, IEEE IoTJ, Elsevier FGCS, IEEE TNSE, IEEE Access, IEEE COMM. Magazine, etc. His research interests include wireless communication, mobile edge computing, reinforcement learning, Internet of Things, and flying ad hoc networks.
