Thomas Yeh is an Assistant Professor of Teaching in the Department of Computer Science at the University of California, Irvine, part of the Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences. He teaches introductory programming, data structures, and algorithms to undergraduates and professional master's students. Before joining UCI, he was a Visiting Assistant Professor at Pomona College, having previously worked in industry in roles spanning research, architecture, design, verification, and management. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from UCLA and his B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley. His research interests include AI in computer science education, efficient machine learning, and computer architecture. His work has appeared at SIGCSE, ICML, ISCA, MICRO, and TOG.
