Wayne Hayes


Wayne Hayes is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at the University of California, Irvine. Hayes works in "Computational Science", which is the application of computers to solve scientific problems. His primary focus at the moment is computational methods of graph theory applied to biological networks such as protein-protein interaction networks and brain connectomes. He also has other ongoing projects in tracking of cells in videos, and the analysis of images of galaxies in astrophysics.Â
