Shawn Patrick Griffin is a Health Sciences Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy Practice at the University of California, Irvine School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. He was hired as a founding faculty member within the new Doctor of Pharmacy Program and is currently developing both didactic and experiential courses for student pharmacists. Dr. Griffin also practices as a Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist within the Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation and Cellular Therapy Program at the Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center where he has worked to create new pharmacist-provided clinical services. His research interests include investigating the role of pharmacists in clinical practice and optimizing the dosing of oncology-related medications in special populations.Â
