Sergio Orozco is an Associate Professor of Physics at Long Beach City College, dedicated to helping students succeed in both algebra-based and calculus-based physics courses. He received his M.S. in Physics from California State University, Northridge in 2012, where his research focused on using ab initio calculations to explore material science phenomena. Sergio implements research-based teaching methodologies with the goal of making complex concepts accessible and engaging. In the classroom, he strives to incorporate the latest discoveries and advancements in physics. Sergio continuously seeks to inspire and challenge students, preparing them for advanced studies and careers in the physical sciences.
