Prof. Roback has a strong interest in equity and ensuring that STEM students gain a strong foundation in chemistry while being supported and encouraged by faculty and staff.
At Long Beach City College, she teaches general and allied health chemistry and is a member of the Academic Senate and the Faculty Association Executive Board. At California State University, Dominguez Hills, she was a chemistry lecturer, pre-health advisor, and liaison between the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry and Toro Learning & Testing Center. She has participated in the Equitable Teaching Community, the American Chemical Society Two-Year College Faculty Workshop, Faculty Learning Program, Guided Pathways to STEM, Faculty Advising Fellows Program, CSU Redesign with Technology Program, has designed STEM skill building workshops, and has mentored colleagues in the use of technology in the classroom
