Teddy Bear Hospital USA at ASU is Arizona's first chapter of this student-run organization, dedicated to alleviating childhood anxiety surrounding medical environments through hands-on learning experiences. By hosting engaging mock "hospital" stations at local schools, we help children understand healthcare and reduce their fears. We also volunteer at various organizations within the community, expanding our impact beyond the classroom. Following in the footsteps of the UC Irvine chapter, our club fosters a supportive community for members, offering a fun environment where students can connect, recharge, and find the encouragement they need to succeed.
Teddy Bear Hospital USA at ASU meets bi-weekly, alternating between meetings, fundraisers, volunteer sessions, and social events, providing members with opportunities to stay engaged and connected.
The ASU Chapter provides opportunities for students to visit neighboring elementary schools to teach kids about general health information and more! Our goal is to help reduce clinical anxiety to the children of Tempe!
