Dr. Darnise Williams 

Dr. Williams earned a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Southern California and a Master of Arts in Educational Administration from California State University, Dominguez Hills.

Dr. Williams was just named the new Superintendent for the Sequoia Union High School District (Bay Area). She is a former teacher, coach, coordinator, principal, and director for the Los Angeles Unified School District. She is also a UCI alumnus (she completed her undergraduate studies at UCI). Her expertise is professional development, equity, inclusion, agency, building capacity and social justice. In a partnership with USC, she led the work on racial equity in schools for LAUSD (she is in the sky blue pant suit in the front).
