Our Committees:

1. Outreach/sponsors Team: Reach out to companies/non-profit organizations/individuals for partnerships and/or collaboration (Online, Instagram, etc). Reach out to suitable people online for event/workshop hosting. Responsible for leading fundraisers and securing sponsorships. Preferably have experience with cold emailing, knowledge of similar non-profit organizations/connections/women in stem, and good communication skills.

2. Events Team: Manage, organize, and responsible for the coordination of our events, workshops, and activities. Brainstorm new ideas for future events. Responsible for event logistics and making sure events run smoothly. Preferably have experience with event planning and online events.

3. Social Media/Marketing Team: Create posts and flyers for our social media and manage social media accounts (Instagram/Slack). Responsible for increasing engagement through online platforms. Preferably have experience with graphic design and/or Canva.

4. General Member: If you are not sure which team you would like to join. Participate generally in teams of interest, all-purpose members. Can switch to a specific team of your interest later.

5. Host an event/workshop: If you have a technical skill or experience with a certain area of expertise, you can teach programming courses or host your own event! Examples include but are not limited to: Intro to (Python, Java, HTML/CSS, React, etc) workshop, a series of lessons based on a topic of your choice, speaker panels, presentation on soft skills, etc. Must be approved by us first.
