Title: Steps Towards a More Inclusive Conference Experience for All - A Community-sourced Panel Discussion
Description: Experiences, comments, and questions sourced from instructors, researchers, administrators, and trainees will be framed and conveyed to the broader audience by panelists who hail from a diversity of backgrounds. The goal is to highlight the multiple barriers faced by individuals, as well as discuss actionable steps that can be taken to promote a more inclusive SABER West conference environment. We will be soliciting feedback from all SABER West attendees through a pre-conference survey to help guide this discussion.
12:30-2 pm PST workshops
2-3 pm PST Cocktail/Mocktail Social Hour The social is specifically geared towards building community with and across our Community College, teaching institution, and R01 attendees at SABER West. All attendees are welcome! So grab a cocktail/mocktail and join us for an after-conference chat.
