Fall 2026 meetings are just around the corner! Check our Instagram or Discord for more details.
Hello! I'm Jianna Ongsioco, and I'm your President. I'm a fourth-year chemistry major doing the computational chemistry concentration, but I love all aspects of the central science <3 (okay maybe except postlabs). I love learning, and I think there's no better way to learn about the world than through the funny little molecules that make up the universe. On campus, I'm involved with FUSION, Kababayan, and Science Olympiad at UCI. Outside of all that, I like to go on Wikipedia rabbit holes, craft (sewing, crossstitching, knitting, crochet, you name it), listen to K-Pop, watch anime/kdramas, or read. Hope to see you around!
Hi! I'm Elizabeth, and I'm the Internal Vice President . I'm a fourth-year chemistry major in the computational chemistry concentration. I love how chemistry is fun, dynamic, and fundamental to learning the inner workings of our world! On campus, I do organic chemistry research in the Dong Lab, I'm a resident advisor, and I play on the UCI Women's Lacrosse club team. Outside of school, I enjoy pretty much any outdoor activity (backpacking, kayaking, paddle boarding, biking, and more!). If you want to kayak around Newport Bay, let me know; I'm always down to meet new people and try new things!
Hi! My name is Arman and I'll be your External Vice President for the upcoming year. I'm a 4th year, double majoring in applied physics, and biochemistry & molecular biology . I conduct computational research in the Physiology and Biophysics Department at the medical school, working with the Wagar lab. My research interests lie in how computational biophysics and biochemistry can be applied to the field of immunology. In my free time, you can catch me teaching martial arts, practicing hapkido, playing music, or using my computer for what it was meant for: playing the Sims. Feel free to reach out!
Hi everyone! My name is Anushri and I’m your Outreach and Mentorship Coordinator! I am a third-year chemistry major that loves all things chemistry but am especially interested in the interdisciplinary aspect of chemistry and its societal and humanitarian application in the real world. Outside of Chem Club, I am a Resident Advisor, Campus Representative, and a part of ASUCI. In my free time, I love playing tennis and badminton, going on bike rides, listening to music, and playing the violin and piano (love all things music!). Feel free to reach out and connect with me!
Hello! My name is Jaiminh Park, a current fourth-year and the Chem Club Treasurer. I’m currently in Qavi lab, furthering lab medicine, phonics and photonics, and combating rare, neglected tropical diseases. Other things I do around campus are being part of ABUI, ASUCI and the FCP. For fun I really enjoy sleeping and have a chronic, terrible addiction to gaming. I enjoy meeting and talking to new people, so feel free to reach out to me and start a conversation (if I like you enough maybe I’ll make you food :p)
Hello, I'm Minju and I'm a second-year chemistry major. I will be the assistant treasurer for this year. My goal after graduation is to hopefully become a quality control chemist or analytical chemist. Outside of school, I enjoy drawing, watching cartoons, dancing, and reading. My favorite show is Adventure Time!
Hey, I'm Alysa and I'll be your media manager this year! I'm a second year Chemistry major with a concentration in Chemical Biology and Medicinal Chemistry. On campus, I do Alzheimer's research in the Nowick Lab. Outside of school, I love to listen to music, read, and crocheting. I love meeting new people, so whether you want to chat about research, classes, or just hang out, feel free to reach out anytime!
Hi I'm Justin and I'll be your Outreach Coordinator this year! I'm a second year Chemistry and Biology double major. Outside of my studies, I like to play guitar/jam with friends, cook and eat food, play Overwatch, and hoop at the ARC. Feel free to reach out!
Hi! Hallo! Cześć! And many more! I'm Sonia, your Secretary—a sophomore majoring in chemistry and a certified Polish girl. I believe chemistry helps me understand the world better and, more importantly, why my cookies turn out better some days than others. When I'm not studying, you'll find me side questing with friends and family, reading, sailing, or enjoying an iced café latte. If you ever need help with chemistry, European trivia, or just about anything else, don't hesitate to ask. I promise I don't bite—I was just born with a Slavic resting face.
