Here at Hillendale we use a variety of resources to teach programming for all students K-5. Our students use a combination of web based and hands on tools to learn the basics of programming. Our students also combine the skills of programming with robotics to maximize their learning of this 21st century skill. Please check out the resources below to learn more about what we're doing here at Hillendale.
BeeBot Robots are used with our youngest programmers. This hands on approach teaches the skill of programming in a way that uses basic sequencing to move BeeBot from point A to point B.
Code and Go: Mouse Robot is another tool used with our our young programmers. Students build mazes or tracks with the goal of getting the mouse robot to the cheese.
