Orach Paul Francis (Facilitator, GeoCode 2025)

Orach Paul Francis is a Petroleum Engineer with strong expertise in subsurface data interpretation, formation evaluation, and geospatial data analysis within the oil and gas industry. With hands-on experience in tools like Geolog, Petrel, ArcGIS, Python, and Techlog, Orach has consistently delivered technical solutions that optimize well planning, reservoir performance, and digital integration for upstream operations.

He has a proven track record in training and capacity building, having conducted expert sessions on well log interpretation and subsurface software applications for both industry professionals and university students. At GeoCode 2025, Orach brings his industry experience and instructional expertise to guide participants in spatial data analytics, mapping workflows, and Python programming for geoscience applications.

Ronnia Tukamuhebwa (Facilitator, GeoCode 2025)

Ms. Tukamuhebwa Ronnia has a remarkable professional experience in environmental consultancy, oil and gas management, Leadership and finance. She is a holder of a bachelor’s degree in Oil and Gas Management from Uganda Christian University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Conservation and Natural Resource Management at Kyambogo University. Ronnia has undertaken various professional training courses, including leadership, advanced statistics, experimental design, and environmental consultancy. She is an active member of multiple professional bodies and has experience coordinating projects in the Uganda Chamber of Energy and Minerals. Her research interests focus on environmental sustainability, energy resource management, Leadership and financial analysis.

Arthur Natukunda (Founder, GeoCode Lab)

Arthur Natukunda is a dynamic Petroleum Engineer and IT professional with a strong background in geospatial data analysis, IT systems management, and oil and gas operations. As the founder of GeoCode, Arthur champions the integration of digital technologies and geo-data analytics to advance resource management and exploration workflows in East Africa. He is experienced in applying Python-based data science tools like Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib, and PyGeoAPI for geospatial analysis and decision support.

Arthur’s multidisciplinary expertise includes IT infrastructure management, cybersecurity, digital branding, and e-learning development. He has contributed to major initiatives with organizations like the Uganda Chamber of Energy and Minerals, Uganda Chamber of Mines and Petroleum, BTS Clearing & Forwarding, SunMaker Oil and Gas Training Institute and TotalEnergies EP Uganda, focusing on technical solutions for energy operations and digital capacity building. Through GeoCode, he leads efforts to build local capacity in geo-data management and analytics for energy, environment, and infrastructure sectors.
