Jessica Griffin is an undergraduate student attending the University of California: Davis to study Managerial Economics and Sociology. Her initial interest in Sociology started her sophomore year of High School after participating in a mock crime scene investigation and trial. With prior desires to serve her country, she plans to commission into the Air Force or join Naval Criminal Investigative Service.Â
Throughout her high school career, she was involved the Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps, which fueled her desire to serve her country. Rising through the cadet ranks, she progressed in all aspects of a leader, overachieving not only scholarly, but in the program as well.Â
Currently, she has just been accepted into the UC Davis Police Department Cadet Academy program, aimed for juniors and seniors, to set herself up for success in her future endeavours. She plans to apply the same concepts as she learned in MCJROTC to her Cadet Academy in hopes to, in the future, teach the new cadets in the program.Â
