Teacher trainings offer professional development to prepare educators to deliver the Spinning Salmon program in classrooms. These trainings provide important resources that outline requirements and background information.
The Teacher Handbook supports educators in facilitating the Spinning Salmon Program outlining guidance on framing the project with students, instructional shifts, data collection protocols, and a storyline of the modules that position youth as scientists. These key instructional shifts and protocols are critical in launching a year of successful engagement with the program.
