Observation #1
Julieta participated in a game of Monopoly with a starting capital of $1,500.
She took turns rolling the dice, buying properties, and managing her money throughout the game.
She demonstrated cognitive skills such as decision-making and basic math for trading.
Juliette sits at a table with the Monopoly board set up on it. She has $1,500 in Monopoly money in her hand. When it's her turn, she picks up the dice and shakes them quickly, then rolls them onto the board. The first roll is a 9, and she counts the points and moves her token onto the board. She lands on Connecticut Avenue and decides to buy it, reaching into her bank to put the money in.
In the next round, Juliet again rolls a 9. After counting the points, she discovers that her pawn lands on another player's property, and she needs to pay $10. She pays the money. Then she rolls a 5, landing on another player's property, which costs her another $18. Juliet counts the money and hands it over. Continuing the game, Juliet rolls a 10 in the next round, landing on the Community Chest card. She draws the card and reads it briefly before setting it down again before preparing for her next move. She then rolls an 8, deciding to purchase Mediterranean Avenue and add it to her ever-expanding list of properties.
As the game progresses, Julieta rolls a 7 and lands on a property owned by Player 3, which she must pay $30 for. She reaches for her money and hands it over, her face clearly showing displeasure. Shortly afterwards, she rolls a 6 and lands on Virginia Avenue, which she can't wait to buy – clearly she's very happy with this acquisition.
Finally, Julieta rolls a 7 and lands on a free parking space, which she takes a moment to rest in before preparing for the next round.
