Marcella Hernandez is a dynamic and driven first-generation BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and/or Person of Color) student, hailing from a vibrant Latinx community. With a passionate commitment to education and empowering others, Marcella has dedicated herself to supporting and guiding fellow students in their pursuit of higher education. In addition to her advocacy, Marcella is pursuing her goal of becoming a skilled farm manager, driven by her deep connection to sustainable agriculture and her community’s rich farming heritage.
Born into a family that valued hard work and education, Marcella's journey has been shaped by her unique experiences and the challenges she faced as a first-generation student. As an intelligent and ambitious young woman, she has overcome various obstacles, defying stereotypes and breaking barriers along the way.
