Kristin Predeck

My name is Kristin Predeck and I obtained my PhD from the Department of German at the University of California, Davis, advised by Dr. Santiago Barreda Castañon and Dr. Carlee Arnett. I received my M.A. in Linguistics with a concentration on phonetics and phonology, forensic linguistics and quantitative research from Heinrich-Heine university, Düsseldorf in 2017.  I am currently working on my Master of Science in Data Science from Merrimack College with an expected graduation in July 2026.

My research focuses on speech perception, natural language processing, speech signal processing, experimental phonetics, transfer learning, and robotics.
