Agricultural and Resource Economics

I am a PhD Candidate in Agricultural and Resource Economics at University of California Davis. My research interests are development economics, industrial organization, agriculture, and econometrics. Starting in July 2021, I'll be a postdoctoral scholar in the Development Innovation Lab at the University of Chicago.

I study how agricultural and commodity markets function in developing countries and how these market conditions affect food security. My dissertation examines how small firms in rural markets respond to changes in market structure caused by new technologies, environmental shocks, and commodity price variation.
